Dr. Anil Prasad Bhatt founded the Renacare home hemodialysis programme to bring this option to Delhi NCR patients. The programme uses compact NxStage machines and provides comprehensive caregiver training.
HHD typically allows 5–6 short sessions per week (vs 3 long sessions at a centre), which results in better blood pressure control, fewer fluid restrictions, less fatigue, and significantly lower long-term mortality. Renacare provides equipment, supplies, training, 24/7 helpline, and machine maintenance.
